Choose the effect before the material
Start with how the sign should feel from the normal viewing position. A refined reception logo may use a thinner profile and controlled finish; an exterior identity may need a stronger scale and different construction. The wall color, lighting and space around the letters matter as much as the material. We review the artwork for fine lines, small counters and separate pieces that could affect fabrication or installation.
Compare thickness, finish and attachment
Acrylic, metal and layered constructions offer different combinations of weight, edge appearance and color. Letters can sit close to the wall or project from it depending on the mounting system. The right attachment depends on the substrate and sign design. Where the background is uneven, a supporting panel may simplify the composition. Any illuminated version needs a separate electrical and construction review.
Use the right specification for outdoors
Interior and exterior applications should not share a specification by default. Exposure, attachment, finish and maintenance need to suit the intended location. For a Reno or Sparks building, provide property sign criteria and a photo showing the full frontage. Required approvals, mounting access and any existing wall damage should be addressed before ordering, particularly if the installation is above a public entrance.
Keep quote comparisons meaningful
Send vector artwork, approximate overall width, desired letter depth, finish references and the address. Ask that fabrication, mounting hardware, installation and any removal work be identified in the scope. Costs depend on the number and complexity of elements, material thickness, finishing and installation conditions. A full-size layout or measured proof helps confirm scale before the sign is produced.

- Retail interiors
A few useful answers.
How large should my letters be?+
The viewing distance, logo proportions and available wall space determine the right scale. Send an approach photograph so the sign can be considered in context.
Can small logo details be reproduced?+
Some details may need adjustment for the material, thickness and attachment. We flag those issues during artwork review.
Can you include illumination?+
Ask at the start. The team must confirm the proposed construction, electrical requirements and installation scope rather than assuming a standard dimensional-letter quote includes lighting.
