Privacy begins with sightlines
Photograph the glass from the corridor and from inside the room. A band placed for seated occupants may not address views from a standing position. Use the actual furniture arrangement to judge the proposed pattern, and consider door identification and adjacent panels as one composition.
Separate decorative goals from performance claims
Decorative graphics do not automatically establish a thermal, safety or security rating. If those functions are part of the brief, identify them separately and request verified product documentation. Confirm glass compatibility, edge details and cleaning guidance for the specified material before proceeding.
Choose the coverage you actually need
Decide whether the goal is privacy at desk height, screening for an entire meeting room or a repeated brand pattern. Compare a continuous frosted band with individual shapes or printed imagery. A larger covered area is not automatically the better solution: preserve useful views and review the effect from both sides of the glass under typical lighting.
What affects the quote and installation scope
The number and size of panes, material, pattern complexity and amount of existing film to remove affect the scope. Tall glass, furniture that limits access, door hardware and restricted work hours can add installation work. Confirm who will move furniture, clean or prepare the glass, remove old material and arrange building access. Installation and removal should be stated separately in the quote.
What to send for a window-film quote
Send a wide photograph of each glass wall, approximate pane dimensions, a pane count and the project address or ZIP. Add close-ups of existing film, handles and any markings, plus your logo if branding is needed. Explain which views you want to screen, your target date and available installation hours. Final material selection and measurements need review before production.

Does decorative film make a room fully private?+
The effect depends on the material, pattern, lighting and viewpoint. Review the desired level of screening before selecting it.
Can the same pattern continue across several panes?+
Yes, a measured elevation helps align the pattern while accounting for mullions, gaps, handles and door movement.
Can you replace existing window film?+
Replacement can be reviewed. Share photographs and, if known, the age and type of existing film. Removal time, adhesive residue, glass condition and access affect the scope; removal is not assumed to be included.
Does privacy film also reduce heat or provide security?+
Decorative privacy and other performance needs are separate specifications. Explain any heat, glare, safety or security goal so the proposed product documentation can be reviewed. Do not infer those properties from a frosted appearance.
